Molten OhFuudge Cake
As seen on New Day Cleveland!
( makes 4 servings )
Preheat oven to 450 F
¼ c butter(meltedàmelt it in the ramekins to pre-grease them for later!)
4 oz (one pouch or ½ jar) OhFuudge
2 eggs (room temp!!)
1 Tbls Irish crème (or replace this with bourbon, wine, or whatever type of liquor you like!)
1 Tbls Flour
Whip together wet ingredients and sugar ( NOT FLOUR YET!) until very fluffy.
About 3 minutes with a stick blender or for much MUCH longer with a whisk! (it’s not cheating, it’s using power tools!)
Mix in flour gently until incorporated.
Batter will be very runny!
Pour into 4 buttered ramekins (shorter, wider ramekins tend to result in more molten centers. )
Bake at 450 for 8-12 minutes
These should be jiggly* in the center, if not, they will just be delicious cupcakes.
Let cool 5 minutes then turn out onto a serving dish and enjoy!
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream and fruit, or whatever you want!
Obviously dinosaur sprinkles are highly recommend!
*Pro tip: If your cakes get over cooked and aren’t jiggly when they comes out of the oven, squeeze or spoon an extra blob of OhFuudge into to the center of the cake immediately. while the cake cools, the extra fudge will liquify to create extra “lava” when you turn it out onto the plate! This can save the presentation if you are trying to impress someone special.
No judgement if you just choose to add more when it comes out jiggly too, more chocolate is more chocolate!
